I missed that. But then, I don't hang about page 2. But the internet isn't a 'safe space'. People have to proceed with caution.

I don't like the idea of "safe space" because it's code for "echo chamber." But I also don't like how, whenever there's really atrocious behavior going on, someone says "well, this isn't a safe space." It's an excuse to be a dick is what it is.

This makes sense to me. Some measure of civility needs to be maintained. Rather than a purely safe space, it should be a safer space -- a place where you don't have to deal with shitheads but you should expect the occasional challenging viewpoint or expression in a respectful environment.
