I actually prefer Steve/Sam, just because I enjoy the adorableness factor, and I think Steve deserves a happy dorky relationship.

Depends on whether we're talking about the movies or comics. For the MCU, I prefer Steve/Bucky and for the comics, I prefer Steve/Sam.

Steve/Bucky, the angst factor draws me in for the whole WS part of it and before that they were drift compatible bros, and they stole my heart(curse them).

Steve/Bucky because I'm predictable and was shipping them from the beginning. They have an adorable relationship and the mix of angst and fluff is kind of perfect. (Plus, the whole 'love saves the day' thing kills me. Always. "But I knew him..." *clutches chest*)

Yeah, a big part why I ship Steve/Bucky is because Bucky was there first. Steve said it best.

Exactly. If Steve/Bucky hadn't been first and so close and cute together then I probably would've shipped Steve/Sam.

But Bucky is Steve's oldest and (presumably) closest friend, and I love the 'friends to lovers' trope. Usually, anyway. Definitely in this case.

I like Steve/Bucky too don't get me wrong, but Bucky doesn't interest me so much as a character (especially compared to Sam) and A LOT of the Stucky fic centers around Steve taking care of him. Which just doesn't appeal to me.

steve/sam. only because i don't see the steve/bucky chemistry as more than friendly at the moment. maybe in later films i'll warm up to it, but i find steve/sam more believable right now.

Steve/Bucky because for me I love the angst, the h/c, and also the fact that their friendship is so long-standing. The longer the friendship the more likely I am to ship.

Steve/Bucky, because I've kind of shipped it since TFA. In fact, I prefer shipping Steve with his 40's crew over his modern day crew.

Steve/Bucky, hands down. The angst, the best-friends-to-lovers aspect of it, the loyalty kink and competence kink, being tragically separated by circumstances beyond their control... all of those are like catnip to me.
