If I have to choose, Zuko/Katara, just because I don't like apathetic, hate-the-world goth-wannabe characters like Mai.

I think that's probably why I don't like her as much either, or at least part of it

I honestly find Mai kind of boring especially compared to...basically everyone else in the main cast. :/

it's been a long time since I've seen it so my memories are probably blurred.

Yeah I never liked Mai for that reason. That and they mispronounced her name.
