I'd take it in romance too, but I will not turn my nose up at a friendship fic if it gives me a good, epic story.

I have a fic like this that I want to write, but it revolves around a character that not many people care about, for an essentially dead fandom. :( I might still write it regardless, but I wish I had when it was still in its heyday...
