What an awesome, awesome, awesome show. The sing-along to 4 Non Blondes, the scene in the pool with Wolfgang (you know the one I mean), Sun being so damn brave, and so damn *good*, and such a badass, Capheus and his endless optimism and love, Kala's adorable confusion and attraction around naked-in-bed Wolfgang (And Wolfgang's best-bro'ship with Felix), Will and Riley calling each other and Will insisting Nomi is *Nomi, she*, Nomi and Amanita's romance, Lito's memories of his and Hernado's date in the museum and first kiss, Riley and Sun talking and Sun being out in the beautiful world instead of prison, Lito's breakdown and lost flip-flop AND he and Sun freaking out, Rajan doing a Bollywood number at his and Kala's engagement party, Nomi's aunt (was it aunt? or just good friend, I can't remember), Will hesitating over sabotaging the flashy rental.....
SO MANY THINGS! :)

(Anonymous) 2015-07-19 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)And I do not understand how it is possible that the orgy scene was as sexy as it is. I uh... ahem. It was artistic, okay! No seriously, I thought it was, but it was also ridiculously sexy to me. I may have watched it several... ten+ times on Youtube.
I also really do think Rajan is adorable as fuck and total perfection. I like that he didn't secretly become a secret asshole bad guy (well, yet) to make it easier for Kala to dump him. But mostly, especially with Wolfgang pretty much gone off the deep end, I kind of want her to develop feelings for Rajan. He's just so sweet.
Sun IS amazing. At first I was like "really, they made the Asian woman be a martial artist?" but honestly, she's so kickass. Everyone else is ridiculously lucky that she's in prison and has nothing better to do than Visit them and constantly save their asses. I'm kind of disappointed that her brother ended up just being a pure villain, I like a good love/hate sibling plot line that ultimately ends in love but it's clearly not going to go that way. Hope she gets out soon though, she needs to have some more action of her own.
The only thing I regret is that I still feel we don't really know what's going on. Whispers is menacing but still really mysterious. Him having access to Will's head though is a great cliffhanger, wonder what'll happen next season!

That orgy scene was friggin' amazing. It was obviously all about emotion and sensation, and nobody was freaking out or having a jealous fit or anything boring like that. Loved it so much (I could watch it forever). And Daniela's reaction to watching Lito and Hernando...all I could think was 'hello, fangrrls!!'. Hee.
Rajan is delightful, yes. I so hope he doesn't turn 'bad' - I hope he understands and tries to be Kala's friend, if she ends up leaving him. She and Wolfgang are so damn sweet, i just want them to be together.
Sun is amazing. Smart, brave, so full of love for her father and trying so hard to honor her mother and kind of being relegated to the 'stick in the mud', the 'second best'.... I loved that she kind of got her own, telling her dad and brother what she knew, and showing them how powerful she was, by taking the blame.
I *really* wanted her brother to step up - yeah, that was a huge disappointment. We'll see what happens next season!
Well, i guess we don't know the *details*, but it seems like Whispers and his kind have decided that 'sensates' are a detriment and are using the powers they hate to wipe them out. Either because they want to build their own, twisted power structure, or because they have a deep self-loathing and/or martyr complex. I don't feel...I guess I don't feel like i'm lost or anything? That's the one part of the season that seemed boringly mundane 'powerful/new humans have to fight for their lives from other humans like them or are trying to kill them' is a pretty time-honored trope, really.
Poor Will! Unless he can figure out how to block Whispers (and probably the others, too, omg no!) he's going to have to be unconscious and/or alone. That's sad.

Do you have a favorite character? Couple? What do you hope to see if the show is renewed?

(Anonymous) 2015-07-19 10:00 pm (UTC)(link)Favorites are tough! I like Lito a lot. And Will is kind of the most cliche one of the bunch but he's such a cutie, I can't help liking him. Sun is so fierce, I love her scenes but want her to get out of prison and have her own action, rather than pummeling her frustrations into her Visits and saving everyone else.
Couples, well, Lito/Hernando. I can't decide if I love Wolfgang/Kala or hate it. At the end of the season I just don't see what they have in common, but I found lots of their little Visits to be adorable early on.
If there is a renewal I want to see more of the actual plot with Whispers! I can appreciate that the show is as much about human drama, or even more, than it is about the actual sci-fi. And I know once they go too sci-fi and have things get too crazy with Whispers, it'll be hard for them to go back to human drama. But still, I want to see so much more of it! More characters on the run!

Lito is HILARIOUS, I'm so happy with the way his arc progressed throughout the season, and I agree that Sun is wonderful, though yes, she better get out of jail next season. I have so much hate for her brother, omg. Will is cliche but still lovable, IA. He's very compassionate. If I had to pick favs I would be hard pressed to say anyone other than Nomi, Neets and Capheus though. Capheus has such a heart of gold; he's so endearing and kind, and I just love him. He's so optimistic. Nomi and Neets are an incredible team and it gets me how supportive and in love they are.
Lito/Hernando are wonderful together too, though. I was so glad they didn't separate for good. As for Wolfgang/Kala, outwardly they don't have much in common, but sometimes opposites attract. Kala seems to (mostly) come to Wolfgang when he's in emotional need, and Wolfgang comes to Kala when she's conflicted and needs a push (or someone to be blunt). Rajan seems like a sweet guy (lol, never know with these shows) but since Kala doesn't return his feelings I don't blame her for not wanting to marry him.
As for plot, I want to see more of the same (Whispers!) as long as they keep lots of human drama. The actual 'Sensates in danger' plot is kind of wacky so far, but not in a bad way. I'm kind of lost on what comes next, I just want there to be a next!
