I thought there were subtle hints to his personality that could be fleshed out in fic.

For example, when Yuma drugs him and you re-read the notes so that they're messages from his mother (in the CAPSLOCK), I thought that was quite telling.

But in terms of a very strictly established character, he's definitely not the most developed and clearly meant to be projected on by the player to a large extent.

Yes, it's clear why they wrote Ajay the way they did with the moral choice system and all. I'm not saying I don't understand the reasoning behind making him more of a blank slate... it just makes for a less captivating story, unfortunately.

And then when you consider that the reason people tend to read and write fanfic is because they want more material for established characters...

Yeah. It's really not all that surprising that there's no fic.
