He's touted at the most interesting and the best character for Meredith. Meredith isn't my favorite either but the shit he's done that he's forgiven is just enormous and he always acts like he's doing her a favor. He's also unbearably condescending and righteous with the other characters.

What don't you like about him?

He's a jerk. He's possessive. Like in season 2 where he is the one to choose Addison over Meredith and yet is angry with Meredith for moving on and being with other guys. Jealousy is not hot. Jealousy like that just makes you a douche. He's controlling. He doesn't like it when things don't go his way. He's arrogant. He thinks his career is more important than hers (later on he makes promises to her that he tries to go back on, can't, then resents her for).

There are actually few of the Grey's men that I actually like. I love the women. The men are often awful.

I agree on all of that. I think he was the worst choice for her. Their love was seen as perfect by the narrative but it was also incredibly toxic. I think that the vet was a good choice for her, if anyone.

I only like a few of the male characters. I didn't like George for his pathetic "nice guy" act and how angry he got about Meredith sleeping with him. I resented Owen for all of the shit he put Cristina through - can't she find any man that deserves her?? I think that Jackson would have been a nice choice for her. I like him well enough. Hate Derek, hate Burke. I nothing Alex. I loved Mark and I loved the dynamic between him and Callie. I thought their friendship and relationship was perfect.

I hated Mark at first, but then he grew into one of my favorites. I adored his friendship with Callie. It was perfect.

I hated Alex. He was just a jerk most of the time. I like Jackson mostly (minus a couple seasons that seemed to be all about Jackson being right and the women being wrong, particularly the season where he first gets to be in charge of the hospital). I Hated Burke. I loved Owen at first until they forced the "need a child" storyline on him. Then he became a jerk, though he's become likeable again since Christina left.

Oh, and I loath the Chief (though he's become a bit more bearable since taking on the teaching role).

And I like Ben okay.

But the women have always been my favorites (minus Izzie who I didn't love). Christina and Callie first as my two favorites. I'm kind of neutral on Meredith. I love April (I liked her from the beginning). I liked Teddy and was sad to see her go. I love Bailey. Loved Addison. Love Arizona. I love Amelia, so I'm glad she's been brought over.

Of the new interns, Heather was the only one I really liked, so I was sad that she was the one killed off.

I miss the dynamic between Callie and Mark so much. I miss their dynamic every day - I wish they didn't decide that he had to die.

Oh yeah, I hate the Chief. His behavior is deplorable and his actions are hypocritical. Every time he shows up it feels like he has just come out of the nursing home and everyone is pretending he's a doctor.

I didn't love Izzie either. I'm strangely attached to Meredith, Cristina and Callie I love. I miss Teddy - Teddy/Owen/Cristina were one of my OT3s before Teddy left and Owen began begging Cristina for a baby. I loved Heather too - it's a shame she was killed off. Shane was so awful and was a bad substitute. I hated the "relationship" between Cristina and Shane too.

Out of all the shit that's been pulled in that show, that probably pissed me off the most. I loved Owen and Cristina together at first and I thought that they had a really great dynamic. Watching their relationship deteriorate and seeing Owen become a total dick was just hard to watch even in a show that's already filled with other explosive relationships
