RSL looked so hot in that scene. Unf.

...Anyway, the final season was incredibly depressing, but there were a lot of powerful, emotional scenes between House and Wilson because of it. I can't even say that I wish it had ended differently because I loved the idea of House running away with Wilson, basically throwing away his chance at a 'normal' life so he could be with Wilson during his final months.

It was brutal, but also realistic. House was a self-destructive mess for the entire series, and I think he was always either going to die (maybe from suicide, maybe not) or fuck things up so monumentally that his life would be left irrevocably changed.

Wilson being the oncologist? Well, of course he had to get cancer. IMO it was devastating in a way that didn't seem out of place for the show.

(I always thought House would commit suicide after Wilson's death too, and again, as sad as the idea of that was, it just made sense; just about the only things House seemed to care about were medicine and Wilson, and once both were taken away from him he wouldn't have any reason to stick around.)
