It's certainly possible, though I don't remember that implication. I'm sure he took certain things from his mentor, but I prefer to think that Harry was pretty much always the Harry we know. (Just...less skilled and maybe slightly less refined. Which I guess explains Eggsy's behavior as well.)

Oh, and fair enough about the pacing (though I would've loved them to be included regardless because I don't think Harry and Eggsy had enough time together), but they still could have been included on the Blu-Ray and DVD!
