Re: Series that had potential, but...

Arrow. It didn't have the strongest first season, but it wasn't horrible and it had potential to grow. But then the second season happened and it was awful, and then the third season happened and it was just embarrassing. They completely ruined it with the Oliver/Felicity drama, the character of Felicity went from a breath of fresh air to a horribly written wreck of a character, and the Oliver character went from a woodenly acted irritant to a blatant Batman rip off.

Most of the other characters are fine (Laurel, Diggle, and Nyssa are great characters and I wish they'd get their own spin off) but even they can't make me stick around for season four.
