I avoid using the word 'stupid' on Facebook because of one person who's hyper sensitive about stuff. It's... well, it's stupid.

Retarded? Now that's a slur... sorta. It's sad that a valid word has become invalid because other people misused it both as direct insult and as a casual word of negativity.

But stupid? Lame? Dumb? I think these are fine words currently so long as they're not used as direct and knowing insults towards people with relevant disabilities.
