I get annoyed by people who think that writers are somehow entitled for liking feedback. Not expecting it or holding chapters hostage, mind you-- two behaviors that someone always brings up even though they aren't what I'm talking about at all-- but just liking and wanting reviews makes you a selfish jerkwad in some peoples' eyes. They think you should be doing it out of some pure love for the Art, and if you're doing it for any other reason you might as well be Hitler. Fuck that noise, I'll write for whatever reason I want to write and it's nobody's business what my motivations are.
