3b was a redeeming moment for the show, like it looked like it'd maybe pick back up it's silly but watchable campy werewolfness... and then season 4 was, something. Like I'm still trying to remember what the point of that season was.

Oh jeeze, Derek's a guest now? Welp, that's even more of a dent in my interest after losing Allison(and having Danny disappear for no goddamn reason).

God I love Lydia but she's utilised so effing poorly, like she's shown as the standard popular 'it' girl to begin with and when we get to know her it turns out that's she's crazy smart and I just loved that, I mean it was kind of clever! But she so rarely gets to actually use those smarts in any meaningful way and what the hell is up with the whole banshee thing? Are we ever going to get that explained? (lol, no).

Right? It's like, she's got this power (???) sort of , to scream bloody murder and find dead people and/or people in peril and hear voices? i guess, or something, telling her about dead people but she can't seem to control it, or understand it, or really use it, and she just keeps getting shoved into short skirts and given useless tasks.

Plus, this season, a lot of uber-close ups of her mouth and eyes and all this kind of awkward seduction/flirtation/whatever with Parrish that's...meh.

Yeah, another reason to hate it all - Danny gone without a trace, Issac gone without a trace, Chris Argent, and and and!! apparently, not only can Lydia's mom sub teach chemistry (i think? was that it?) but she's also the psychologist at the school now. Like...wtf. And haven't heard a thing about the McCall's desperate financial straights (or the Sheriff's) this season, *or* heard a peep about Scott's dad, who was sleeping on the couch last time he was around....

Season four is literally a blur. I remember the whack-doodle trip to Mexico, and Derek getting the full shit and...um....Kate being STILL ALIVE, for fuck's sake, and...that's about it.

Bah.

Can she fly? Walk on water? Read minds? Maybe! We just don't know! (And neither do the writers). I knew the banshee thing wasn't going to be like actual banshees(what with her not being dead and all) but they're just using her as a grab-bag for powers and then not explaining it at all. The concept is cool, I would just like it explained(y'know like why she has these powers to begin with??).

Oooooh man, like I won't lie the idea of Lydia/Parrish is right up my alley but I cannot imagine the writers of this show managing it in a way that isn't the skeeviest fucking thing in the world.

Ugh Danny just up and being gone with no explanation bugged me so much, especially because he always knew! And I was like cool this means he can come into the fold and help them, since he's good with computers, but nope! Bye Danny! Argfjjshkk.

I'm shocked that they've ignored plot points, shocked I tell you!

I loved Kate in season 1, she was a great villain but she totally got what was coming to her and I was happy with her arc, then they brought her back and the WHOLE THING WITH TEENAGE DEREK, NO SHOW, NO, BAD SHOW. (I'm never going to get that scene out of my head). But then this show has problems with KILLING villains permanently, they've all gotten away and it's like okay? Are they coming back or did they decide to just pack in their evil ways because some teenagers beat them up a bit?

(I think getting back into this sow is going to be a no, lol).

She really did, but yes - teen!Derek and Kate was so damn barf-worthy, and there's always this underlying current of 'it's okay, he's a man, he can take it' and then more torture or more bad touching and it's just so fucking *gross*.

HA, omg, worst. Continuity. Ever. And Jeff just shrugs and owns up to not knowing and not caring. WTH? Who does that?

Yeah, you don't need to watch, it's a train wreck.
