Re: Gay MRAs...what

I guess because a lot of the MRA stuff seems to pertain mostly to heterosexual men? A lot of misogyny seems to come from men wanting to sleep with women and getting rejected (they all like asshole "alpha males" not nice guys like meee!) or wanting to sleep with women but not wanting to "put up with" womens' personalities, or with women having rights (they want to be in a relationship where they can, non-consensually, dominate and abuse the woman and it makes them mad that society doesn't always accept that). Of course none of this is a problem for gay men.

Then the issues that are actual issues and not just misogyny, for example, mothers being favored in divorce cases and female-on-male domestic abuse not being taken serious are more likely to be problems for heterosexual men as well.

I've seen gay men who have no interest in sleeping with women be just as sexist.

Power and privilege aren't only about wanting to sleep with someone, and gay men still have male privilege regardless of whether they want to sleep with women.

True. And I think some of them wish the LGBT movement was just about gay men, and that lesbians, bisexual women, and transgender people kinda ruined it.

Like basically they want the same power hierarchies to stay in place, except that they want gay men to be on the top along with straight men. Like black men who have no interest in helping black women, they just want to be up there with white men. Or white women who want the same power as white men and don't care about women of other races.

And again, confusing MRAs with RPs.
