Yup, and I don't even post my fics anywhere. I just write them for myself and I know I will enjoy rereading them tremendously.

Same. I'm the only person who reads my fics. I like to reanalyze them and pat myself on the back for smart phrasing and good ideas. Since nobody is going to see them I can allow myself to be pretentious and ~~so deep~~. They also show changes in my headcanon, for example I always write a fic after an SPN finale which pretty much sums up my whole view on how the characters developped throughout the season.
