18. I used to think I’d do House, but I think he’s too self-centered to be that much fun in the sack. (OK, so he’d never do me anyway, but he's fictional; I can speculate.)

19. I guess I’m not seeing the difference between “plausibility” and “making a pairing work.” If an author makes them stay IC in the fic, that’s plausibility to me. And I really don’t care at all what their motivations are – it can be because they pulled their names out of a hat for all I care.

39. I’m not even that into m/m but they’re practically canon to me. The episode where they were played by a male and female actor and those characters started making out? And the one where they ended up on vacation together at the end after *spoiler*?

41. Wow, I’m so sorry an ugly person has the nerve to relate to a sexy person, and someone who has to live in the real world is unable to behave like a fictional character does.

49. I’d read it. I’d read just about anything about Cyan anyway, but they’d be really cute together, actually. *contemplates*

Well, there's final_fantasy_6 though apparently they don't take adult fic if it was headed that way. I know there are Final Fantasy yaoi comms but I'm not in any of them... but wherever you post it you can drop a note to ff_press and then they can link it.

I hope you do write it! I'd write it myself but I don't know if I could get them past the cuddling stage...

Thanks! I'm not really a smut writer (or... much of a writer at all, really) so that's not really an issue. I'll give it some more work and see how it goes :3

18 OP here.

The difference, sadly enough, is there are many fans who do not see the plausibility of two characters who've never met in canon ever working, saying there needs to be more than just 'the hotness' going for it for it to be believable. IE just pulling their names out of a hat does not a plausible pairing make.

I'm saying, I have taken those characters that have never met (drawn two names out of a hat), tossed them into bed together just because they are hot, and made it work so well those who normally would have blasted it as being implausible, bought into it.

I guess I see what you're saying... and all I can say is I'm such a "any pairing can work if done well" type that I don't relate to people who aren't. And if a fic works, it works.
