Nuclear power's great, as long as you're reasonably competent in planning and administering it.

Nuclear weapons, now, it's a different story.

They go hand in hand, though. As long as someone in the world is capable of creating nuclear power, they can also create weapons.

I mean, you mgiht as well say you don't like science period.

Knowledge of making vaccines and preventing diseases=knowledge of making biological weapons.

The world needs those things, though. We don't need nuclear power. There are other sources of energy. Cleaner ones. I just think that nuclear science in particular is just too inherently dangerous and nuclear weapons have made the world a much worse place.

Thanks for saying that my mother dying of cancer was a good thing by proxy. I mean, chemo uses nuclear-based medicine. But, hey, can't have that since WEAPONS.

The average coal plant releases more nuclear waste per year then the average nuclear meltdown. It just don't do it all at once.
