Yeah I didn't get a licence until I was in my late twenties. I eventually got a shit car which was more broken down than not until I could afford repairs, learnt to fix bits of it.

Before that/during that I rode everywhere over town, even when my health was failing, cos I had no choice, and it probably partially contributed to getting chronically sick. Oh well.

I'm glad that I'm able to drive now, and reasonably safely, though there was that time I drove off a steep incline (chronic illness head fog) and was really really really REALLLLLLLLY lucky it wasn't much worse.
