4. Funny enough I read about that on Court Records and I was thinking of picking up the book just to see the if the references are close to each other. I find it interesting.

44. I don't think I missed the point, I like the idea of how it was filmed but my problem is that the jerky camera movements like that give me motion sickness. I actually had to leave the movie theatre at the beginning of I Am Legend because of the preview of Cloverfield.

Don't get me wrong. I really want to see it but I'm worried I'll vomit.

Oh, man, I can understand the motion sickness thing. I have a few friends who can't go see it because they get motion sick.

I'm talking about the people who see it and complain that you don't get enough of the backstory/one aspect of the plot/detail on the monster/what-have-you because of the way it's filmed. The whole point is it's told from one guy's point of view, and seeing as he's your average everyday civilian he's not going to have all that information the audiecnce wants. That's part of the appeal of the movie.

Now see I find that fascinating even if I actually hate first person stories. I like the idea and you don't see that in movies any more. Nothing is told just by one person and so I think it's a good idea.

My boyfriend saw the movie, and he said it was amazing. I'll take it word on it until I can watch it on DVD so I can pause the movie.

Thanks for clarification! I was wondering if it was more then just the camera motions.

I had someone complain to me that the movie sucked because there was 'no plot', and then defined plot by mindless exposition.

It made me want bang my head against something heavy.
