I really, really want it for the PC because I hear it had more levels and other goodies for download. Also I hear the players are a lot nicer as I've met quite a few douchebags on the XBOX LIVE server. Is it possible to get TF2 without the rest of the Box on the PC, if you know?

But man yeah someone needs to start a community for some easy match ups for play.

If I were a cooler kid, I might do it.

You can by all the Orange Box games individually through Steam - basically a digital download. You can download the steam client by going to steamcommunity.com They end up costing I think 20 - 40 dollars, so really, it's kind of cheaper to just buy Orange Box.

I just bought it on it's own through Steam. I don't think I'll ever play the Half Life 2 games, and I already played Portal on the 360, so I was fine with it on its own.

Yeah, that is the one problem with playing fps games- you inevitably run into a lot of assholes. Luckily, I found a great group of mature guys on one of the first servers I tried out (because I had a ping under 10 on it, haha). Sure some of them smoke some weed, and are fairly vocal about it (I'm an anti-drug sort o' person), but I forgive them because they're not your usual douchebag pubbers. They helped me learn how to play when I told them it was only my second day playing, whereas on other servers the guys would simply yell at me for sucking and/or being stupid.

Yeah it is possible! Also, if you're looking into matches I hear they use mIRC to schedule/arrange most of them. My team looks to be in the process of joining TWL and CEVO...should be fun once we actually start competing. I love the match atmosphere- teamwork is emphasized even more, which is why I started playing TF2 in the first place. I used to play Counter Strike but the way you can pretty much go solo and ignore the rest of your team and still win pisses me off.

Buy it for PC!!! You sound awesome, I totally wanna play TF2 with you. ;)
