Tell me reverse racism is bullshit all you want; I'm never, ever going to listen after the things that I have experienced in my own life.

The only way that I'll accept it as bullshit is because it's not reverse racism at all- it's racism, plain and simple.

If you thought those links were supposed to change my life and views, you were wrong. I understand that racism against white people is much less of a problem than racism against people-who-are-not-white. I've known that for a long time. However, I'm sick to death of people acting as though it's fine for black people to be racist against whites. Yes, white people did some fucked-up shit in the past. Yes, "white privilege" exists. No, that does not mean that the right way to respond is by banding together and saying, "let's all be racist right back!" Just because "reverse" racism is less effective and less widespread doesn't mean it doesn't hurt the people who have to deal with being assumed to be powerful/racist/not good enough to be friends with because they're white.
