I don't think that's exactly what OP's saying - I think their problem is more that the response she inspires from a certain subculture makes OP feel less positive about her by association.

Which is worse. "I don't like this person because other people think she ranks higher on some bullshit objective scale than I do." OP's basing their judgement not on hotness, but on how other people judge her hotness. Wtf.

Forreal. It's the people who apply the bullshit scale unironically that are icky, not the person who is subject to it. (Though it did kind of sound to me like OP was also applying the bullshit scale to her.)
