You chose to have five kids. CHOSE. No one made you do it. None of them were accidents.

So don't bitch to me about how hard you have it and how exhausted you are and how you can't get a single moment of peace and quiet and you haven't read a book in ages and can't do anything for yourself. YOU. CHOSE. THIS. You knew, after the first one, what it was gonna be like. By the time you're up to four, you should be well-versed in how hectic having an army of kids can be. BUT YOU STILL WENT AND SAID "HEY, I'M GONNA HAVE ANOTHER." You purposely went back off BC to have her! And now you whine about it!

Sweet fucking christ, it's like you keep having kids just so you can act like a martyr or some shit. AND IT'S ANNOYING.

Nah. People can still complain about things in their lives, because sometimes life's a bitch.

I could be wrong but perhaps anon here is subjected to constant complaints, and even if they are valid complaints, nobody wants to listen to that all the time. Like I said, I could be wrong.

Yeah it's like DA said. It'd be one thing if it was venting from time to time because everyone gets frustrated and stressed. But it's constant complaining from her. Constant cries of how horrible her life is. I can't remember the last time she said anything remotely positive about any of her kids. It's all about how hard they make things for her.

You get to a point where you just don't wanna here someone be constantly negative about their life, especially when it's a life they chose and KEEP choosing.

Sure, but when it gets to the point where the people you're venting to have had enough, you need to dial back the complaints a bit or find a new person to vent to.

And their friends can decide they're fed up and vote with their feet, leaving the complainer to wail and gnash her teeth for the benefit of the four walls. Because we all get to decide how much of other people's negativity we want to allow into our lives.

IA. No shit having five kids is hard and takes up a lot of time and energy. I know this and I don't even have a house plant or a pet, so someone who has at least one kid and chooses to have more... well, they ought to know that even better than I do, so... /shrug

You also have no idea how much choice she truly had in the matter. Some women are pressured by their partners, constrained by religious beliefs, etc.
