I WANTED to like the show. I really did. The leads are terrific, the cinematography is great, the premise is a fun take on the classic structure. But the show wouldn't let me like it for very long. The basic writing incompetence just WOULD NOT GO AWAY, and I kept hoping it would stop or get better but then there was that stuff with Moriarty in the second season and it was like watching white people rapping in a commercial from 1990, and there were the Tumblr girls calling themselves sapiosexuals because they have a boner for Cumberlock, and OH GOD.

I get you, anon. The first time I saw the show I loved the first episode and liked the third, but the racism in the second made me cringe like nothing else. The novelty faded away after I rewatched them.

So much wasted potential...
