Can't agree enough about exotic pets. I don't even think "forced into domestication" is the right word, they are just NOT domesticated. I seethe at people who get "pet" big cats (and can only shake my head when said pet cat pees everywhere, destroys the house and eventually attacks them). Or those poor slow loris, who were Youtube celebrities who everyone thought were cute until it was revealed that they were actually ridiculously terrified. Not only are these situations dangerous for the animals and for the owner, but they are also incredibly expensive to care for. And probably illegal.
