My guess? The submissive character is usually the favorite character of the writer, at least as far as I've seen. They want to see that character fawned over. Introducing another submissive would ruin the dynamic.

Probably. Considering that is exactly why I personally want more of the one dom with two subs scenario.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Neal is definitely the fandom favorite, although thankfully most of the characters on White Collar are pretty beloved. Except, like, the bad guys. Oh, and Kate. But Sara was generally well-liked, thankfully.
