He wasn't anti-feminist though. At least as far as I can tell.

One of his best friends was the women's rights activist Charlotte Payne-Townshend (wife of George Bernard Shaw). He was friends with Lady Astor, the first woman to be a member of the British Parliament. In fact, one of the last letters he sent before he died was to her.

He had ENORMOUS issues surrounding sex and intimacy but that doesn't mean he hated or thought less of women.
