In 2005, Amy "Lita" Dumas was dating a fellow wrestler, Matt Hardy when she slept with Adam "Edge" Copeland, who at the time was married. Matt revealed it on the Internet and most believe he got (briefly) fired for it and turned on Lita for it. Flash - forward several years later and Amy, now retired from wrestling, was dating CM Punk off and on for awhile (Punk himself, has a notorious history of dating female wrestlers). He dumped her for AJ Lee, who he ended up marrying.

That's not nearly as scandalous or salacious as I was hoping. That sounds like your garden variety reality tv show season.

It was scandalous for that particular era of the WWE at the time as it all took place outside of the ring, instead of a storyline. And Lita was on a pretty high pedestal with the fans at the time the whole thing broke, so it was quite a tumble for her.
