Last year was absolutely horrible at my job. Everything that you could imagine going wrong (including the person I worked with being arrested for something outside of work) went wrong. And one of the last days before my vacation, one of the bosses yelled at me for doing something that the other boss told me to do. I wanted to quit. I applied to a bunch of jobs over vacation, but got a rejection from one and didn't hear anything from the others. So I'm still at the job I hate more and more each day. (Even though this year is at least going slightly better than the last.)

And then today I found out that fast food workers in my state (New York) will now get at least $15 an hour. When I don't even make close to that. And it's not that I don't want them to make money, but if only that could have gone to raising the minimum wage for everyone in the state (which was shot down) so we all could have a more reasonable wage, instead of increasing their wages 150%. Sigh...
