In most of the dream-art, I think both of them were mermen. There may have been one or two pieces where it was just Duke who was. (And the artist was way better at drawing Duke.) But now I totally want Fisherman!Duke falling in love with a grumpy merman and showing him that he doesn't have to be human to be perfect.

(Also, I am the anon who has occasionally complained about the struggle I'm having with my massive Duke/Nathan casefic, and I wrote so much yesterday and I am so close to being done and it is killing me. Also I am reminded that there are mermaids offscreen in one scene, which makes this dream make a little more sense.)

I admit that I have a thing for inter-species relationships though (which is probably why I'm so into BioWare stuff, lol) so maybe that's where fisherman!Duke and merman!Nathan is coming from. In any case, you KNOW that Duke would love to fuck a mermaid. Sorry not sorry

Oh, don't worry. I will be shouting it from the rooftops when this thing is done. I will rent an apartment complex just so I have more rooftops to shout it from.
