Oh I don't think it's unreasonable either. That part's not confusing to me at all.

They would rather have sex with their partner than with a random person, and they say they don't experience sexual attraction, but that they DO have a sex drive, and would want sex even if they weren't in a relationship. they just don't ever feel attracted to anyone in that way.

maybe if you look at it like someone + a bunch of sex toys

they get horny so they use them but its not like theyre attracted to the toys. maybe they see random people as means to an end more than as persons to be attracted to? any phallic-shaped or vagina-shaped object is fine, they arent attracted to one over the other or ones attached to anybody, whatever works to release the undirected horniness?

i dont know, thats the only way i could see it making sense
