If you prefer cheap movies with terrible acting, sure.

someone didn't watch rurouni kenshin

nayrt but... okay, the acting was good enough and the soundtrack was beautiful, but the story was ridiculously terrible, imo. I get they were trying to crunch manga arcs or whatever into a single movie, but I just couldn't. especially at the uselessness of the women and how they both had to get kidnapped, one after the other. I think one got kidnapped twice or more, actually. You think they could've storyboarded it a little better.

I don't care if it's cheap if it's decent. Bigger budget =/= better film, and you're a superficial idiot if you think that.

Also, Japanese have a different style of acting. It's not terrible, it's different.

Bigger budget =/= Better Film

ROFL

please, before you say that, go look at the films and their budgets. A 150 Million budget or more doesn't mean it is a better film, it doesn't even mean the effects will be better. There are great films that have a 65 million budget or so, probably because it forces them to figure out what is important quickly and focus! (And those films are more likely to get sequels because they make the money back.)

...isn't that what they just said? they said that a bigger budget doesn't equal a better film, and you gave examples that corroborated this when you pointed out that a film with a 150 million budget can easily be shittier than a film with a 60 million budget. You're both saying the same thing, so I don't see why the rudeness was necessary here
