I agree with this. I left a critical review of The Dark Knight (it was NOT nice in the slightest I'll fully admit be that's how I feel about it) and in the comments of my review I mentioned things I did like instead:

Avatar: The Last Airbender
Superman (Reeve films)
Captain America

And, no joke, someone said that I needed to see and read more "real art" which The Dark Knight apparently approaches WAY more than almost anything on my list which are simply cartoons and comics pretending to be art.

Like stop with the pretentious shit guys...
