It's exhausting really. She used to be fun but she just started changing and becoming mean spirited. She thinks I should be loyal to her but I refuse to enable a bully and if it comes down to that, well I think I know what I'm going to do.

When she grows up and gets her shit together, then I'll be totally happy to talk again.

That's fair, but I wouldn't hold your breath. Sometimes people snap out of it, but sometimes they get so deep into that hole of believing their own nonsense that it's really hard for them to stop. I for one don't think that fandom is about being a judgmental bully who polices everyone else's fandom experience, and I wouldn't want to hang out with anyone who does that because they suck the joy out of life and fandom.

Even if she does grow up in a year or two after you've distanced yourself, don't feel obligated to "be her friend again". If you want to that's fine and dandy, but personally I'd be worried about a repeat and just wash my hands.
