The Bioware's superficial attempts to cram human rights dialogue into games where the primary mechanic involves mass murder stinks. And you can't just dislike a character, plotline, or faction without the discussion going Godwin quickly.

the thing is, I didn't really get that from the game itself. I thought they made a great case, and Anders is a character I enjoyed very much (and killing him felt just and natural and everything, only my Warden taking him into custody would be a better outcome), but then I start getting into the fandom and I'm like "what the hell are you even talking about? it's not the story I saw at all!" so... yeah. no DA fandom for me :(

Heh, yeah, the same thing goes for the whole Cole romance drama. Like, it's totally cool to set the "autistic and childlike" character on people to brutally slaughter his way through them like an attack dog but if you even think about writing (even the most innocent) romance involving him, you're a sick bastard!
