Eh.

I don't trust critics at all, and I think most of them have actively bad taste, but just because critics like a movie doesn't mean it will be bad. They're capable of misunderstanding why a movie is good as much as they are of having the complete wrong opinion.

Alsoooooooo - I mean, it's hard to say, but I don't really like positioning all films that critics like as boring or talky. Can't we just say that talky / arty / High Drama films are a style and genre of film that's not to your taste. Does it have to be that everything that falls into that critical category is automatically pretentious and trying to hard. Can't it just be Not Your Thing. Jeez luise.
