I never register that your icon is a dog. I think I don't look at it closely enough or maybe in my peripheral I'm like "fancy art icon!". So whenever you post in icon threads I'm always like, shocked to see it's a dog again.

I do that kind of thing a lot. There's an icon on another forum that I'm always convinced is an owl until I really look at it and then it turns out it's some kind of bronze jewellery or something and I don't even know how it looked like an owl. And then I do it again.
