I feel dumb asking this but what refers to what?

Is the red word meant to indicate the red bow tie guy and the blue word meant to indicate blue stripes guy?

Or is it the other way around (since they're superimposed over those guys)?

Sorry if it's a stupid question but I'm not sure who is who here.

Pretty sure it's the colors.

The former - the red word is for the guy in the bow tie and the blue for the blue stripes guy. I worried there might be some confusion, and by gollly I was right.

It has been ages since I last watched Peep Show, but isn't that kind of the point? Mark is just awful. (Though perhaps viewers miss out on this because they like David Mitchell so much.)

Admitted, Peep Show is shown from a biased perspective, from Mark's point of view, but isn't Jeff shown repeatedly saying horrible things to Mark when he thinks no one else can hear him? He's kind of negative and nasty.

Mark is selfish, lazy, a brown noser and almost entire ruled by his neuroses, but he does try to be nice occasionally.

Jeff would be a more competent parent, for sure, but only at practical stuff.
