That's funny, because neither of them is Cajun. I know, it's acting.

You know, Marvel are making it harder and harder to defend their insistence that Peter Parker has to be white.

I think that's a bit of a stretch - an actor playing a character must have the authentic accent/be from the exact right region of the country versus an actor playing a character that has traditionally been white must be white.

Not that I'm against a black/latino/Sri Lankan Peter Parker, mind you, just that I don't think that the comparison is necessarily valid.
