I agree with all that. But I also think there's nothing wrong in principle with the idea of a cure or the idea that it is the kind of thing that could be cured.

Oh, of course. I believe that. Many people go too far by arguing "there should be a cure vs there shouldn't be."

That's too broad. There's nothing wrong with having a cure. The only thing I find wrong would be forcing cures on people against their will.
