I've got a severe S curve in my back. Chiros have helped somewhat to loosen things up but osteopaths have been much better for me. All the chiros spend 10 minutes doing a course of cracking my back but also I need muscle work and tailored treatments really.

Mine was a pinched lumbar vertebrae. And maybe they were also osteopaths? I don't know the difference. I went to them through the low cost health clinic (they were students getting practical experience under the direction of a supervisor). But they did muscle work, and used a machine that did electrical stuff, and did exercises with me (with some for me to do at home), as well as massage and cracking my back when needed. They spent at least half an hour generally on me.
