Yes. He died on July 10th in Egypt.

It upset me more than I thought it would to hear that he had passed. He had a good, long, illustrious life and that should be celebrated.

But it can't help but feel like the end of an era to me.

It really is the end of an era. There are so few actors of his caliber left, and they keep getting older...

I did feel sad for him reading up on how much he had to go through to make himself look "whiter." Particularly since he's such a dreamboat even without (especially without) all those alterations.
