Real people and their fictional counterparts

Inspired by the secret comparing Indiana Jones to T. E. Lawrence.

What fictional characters, from anything, have you thought were possibly influenced by or meant to be fictionalized versions of real people? Like, have you ever read/watched something and thought "wow, that character really reminds me of [famous person] or [historical figure]"?

Steve Rogers reminds me a bit of Audie Murphy even though he logically COULDN'T be based off him.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audie_Murphy

Grew up without a father. Mother died as a teenager. Tried to falsify his entry into the Army. Was an actor (although this was post-war)

He died in a plane crash (although Steve didn't really "die")

He also won every military combat award for valor available from the U.S. Army.

Not really famous or historical people, but my job puts me in contact with a few men who could be the inspiration for Saul Goodman, and let me tell you, they are annoying fuckers.
