For the people who have "types" they're attracted to.

Are you the same type as the people you're attracted to or are you attracted to the type opposite of you? For example a shy person who likes shy people versus an outgoing person who likes shy people.

I think it really depends. In terms of personality I'm attracted to a wide range of people. There is one very specific way in which I'm attracted to opposites, though. I'm a depressed person, a realist, and kind of a cynic. And my type tends to be more optimistic and happy.

Idk. There are certain qualities I find more attractive, but people are pretty complex. Someone could be really similar to me in one aspect and completely different in another. I probably don't look for things in other people that I don't like in myself, though. Shy is fine, we can get to know each other slowly. Very awkward is not fine because I am awkward and if you add on to that we're not going to have much to say to each other.

Hmmm, I wouldn't say it's a direct opposites attract thing, but I tend to be attracted to people who are intelligent and highly creative, usually in music or writing. I like it when people are passionate about what they do, and maybe that's because I often feel very ambivalent and uncertain about what I'm doing or what I want out of life.

Shy attracted to shy. Generally my personality tends to clash with someone more outgoing than I am. I'm most comfortable with someone who'd rather not have attention drawn to themselves.
