I love the game as well. And with nothing useful to contribute, I'll confess that my favourite character is Carter and that I always found this amusing given my utter lack of faith.

I say go ahead and draw the fanart. Try and do your best to research his clothes and avoid any major stereotypes. I think it's better to give him a try than erase him from fanart circles from fear.

I found him more of a reversal? He doesn't actually try to swindle you and he's a pretty cool dude, in my experience, whereas the racist stereotype is that someone of Chinese descent would swindle you for every coin you have...
