I'm not fussed by my job. My bf loves his though. He got there completely by accident though.

Getting to places by accident (or through nepotism) seems to be the theme these days! Lucky guy! What does your bf do?

Getting a job that's a good fit "by accident" is literally par for the course. Assuming you put in all the groundwork/go to all the interviews/always have your resume polished, and network loads, though.

Also assuming the unemployment rate isn't sky-high, too, but sometimes persistence can even win out over that. In my case that meant moving away, but YMMV.

I'm definitely hoping for a happy accident like that! I'm doing several things to get it out there that I'm looking for a change, but I certainly need to do more.

Luckily, I'm in a city that has decent employment rates and that's growing, so I have faith. My SO has a good job he loves here too.
