I've got some ships where I have a preference for who tops but I don't get bent out of shape if I see a fic with the dynamic being different, if anything I like a bit of a change-up every now and then because otherwise it gets a bit too samey for me.

But I don't think that having a strong preference is bad in of itself, you like what you like, it's when people attack each other for their preferences that I don't like(but I feel this way about a lot of shit in fandom tbh, not just top/bottom dynamics).
