(Anonymous) 2015-08-03 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)The fact that it defaults to on rather than off is a problem, because if it cocks up your preferences during an update or patch (which Windows is a bit notorious for doing), it means it'll flip back to on. Having to remember to check that your settings are still your settings every time you update is a pain in the ass.
