Agreed! Especially in a long fic or multi fic 'verse. It just either gets samey or starts to feel weird when different types of sex all have essentially the same dynamic i.e. "you've been gone for ages and I miss you" sex= A tops B, B is sad and needs comforting sex= A tops B, A is sad and needs comforting sex = A tops B, "you're so hot to me right now" sex = A tops B.
