I thought this would be the case for me as well, but the first time I tried it, I was so excited. It was like, look at the dynamic lighting! Look at the amazing rendering! Look at how I can move my flashlight from side to side and view the floor and ceilings! This game is so well made!

Normally when I'm walking around in the dark I feel like I'm in a horror game already or feel scared of things that might happen, but making it even more like a game lets me step out of it and see things as a player rather than as a protagonist.

At least I think that's what's happening anyway.
